Amanda Deasy, D.O.
A native of Alabama, Dr. Amanda Deasy is a Board-Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained medical retina specialist. She received her medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee, a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, an honorary osteopathic service fraternity.
As Chief Resident, Dr. Deasy completed her medical internship and ophthalmology residency at the Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, she continued her training in a medical retina fellowship in Orlando, Florida, at the VA Medical Center in affiliation with the University of Central Florida School of Medicine.
Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, general ophthalmology, in-office cosmetic procedures, and the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retina vascular disease.
Dr. Deasy looks forward to bringing her skills to the Richmond area as a team member at Dominion Eye Associates.
